Tactique is a high-performance software adding to the classic functions of help in navigation and cartography, a specific design for racing. It is an excellent tool for the tactics decisions process. Developed and approved by the best French crews, it was designed with an innovating ergonomics and a formidable reliability.

Managing the pre-start

This is the specificity of the software: each stage of the race is set and the software changes automatically on the current set screen. During the pre-start, once the marks and the time watch are set, the cartography focuses on the line and its lay lines. The numéric displays are specifics: time watch, time and distance to the line, advantage of the line, advance/delay to the line...

Managing the race

During the race, the sceen changes automatically and focuses on the buoys if running a running a windward/leeward course or on the next waypoint if running a coastal race. The lay lines are drawing the scope and the data are displaying : time and distance to the lay lines, speed, target speed and its ratio and also the downwind target angle or the VMG...

The replay function or the implacable debriefing

Thanks to the Replay, you are able to play again a race to analyse the adifferent steps, the chosen options and the evolution of the weather conditions. All the data recorded from the navigation instruments and from the GPS are available in the replay mode.

The new functions for 2007

Alarme. The version 4 of Tactique software enebles to set alarms on mor than one hundred data managed on the software, as for example the heading error to the waypoint, the target speed, the depth, the wind...
When it's set off, the alarm sends out a visual signal on the screen and a sound signal than can be linked with a speaked inside or outside of the boat.
Mandatory for offshore races, the alarms make the navigator's sleep safer especially when sailing alone.
During inshore races, the alarms can inform the tactician of any change on the navigation condition (approach of a lay line, roation of the wind...).

Since this year, Tactique software can also provide a new function of offshore routing and an AIS reader/displayer for your safety at sea.

Acquiring a USB dongle is compulsive when buying Adrena software for the first time. This dongle is compatible with Optima, Optima Pro and Tactique.
