Optima will help you to calibrate your boat's navigation computer : alignment of the wind vane, calibration of the speedometer and compass alignment. It will also allow you to construct the particular polar diagrams of your boat. Use those diagrams in race (laylines, VMG, target speeds) or in a route display in your navigation software.
