PCI Cards

The difference between "H" serial cards and "L" serial cards.

"H" serial cards work with a communication protocol "128 Byte FIFO", whereas "L" serial cards work with a communication protocol "16 Byte FIFO".

The FIFO (First In, First Out) manages a waiting line (priority system in which the first objet available was the first object placed).

So the only difference between FIFO 16 BYTE and FIFO 128 BYTE is speed.

U-PCI cards consume between 3,3V and 5V whereas PCI cards consume 5V.
