OFFSHORE NAVIGATOR is the complete version of Offshore Navigator Lite that comes with all MAPTECH maps.

Navigation functions are complete. Designed to work with MAPTECH maps. Offshore Navigator has the same characteristics as Offshore Navigator Lite (GPS positioning, path planning, map and path printing, easy GPS configuration, currents and tides) plus:

• Tracer : Exact tracing of path
• Alarm zones : Create proximity, water and out of boundary alarms
• Waypoint database : Build a list of commonly used waypoints
• "Go to" function : Quick and easy to use tool

Navigation or On water mode
In only one click, simplify interface to enlarge maps and have direct access to navigation information and function.

Spherical horizon
The Horizon is moved back with "Spherical horizon" a la capacité d'éloigner l'horizon. Imagine covering a balloon with navigation maps. A part of the map seems to be further away.

Autopilot Controller
Offshore Navigator generates NMEA 0183 phrases to command autopilot. After planning path at home, connect computer on board and let pilot follow instructions. Nothing could be easier.

Note : Autopilot is not required to run Offshore Navigator.

Send your position
Use "Send position" function to send position, direction, speed and ETA to any email address. Position can be seen on a map without any extra software.

Requirements : 120MHz Pentium Processor, 32Mo of RAM and 300Mo of hard drive available

2009-2010 Tide and currents update

Download and install the uptade corresponding to your OSN version then download and install (Readme included) this patch. Once update is complete, go to Map menu > Map list > "advanced map organization" and then click on "reconstruct".
