With FUGAWI 4.5, transfer waypoints, while working with digital maps in real time. Compatible with PC (Windows) and most GPS. Calculate traveled distance by incorporating wind. FUGAWI also possesses tools to calculate distances and bearings. Fugawi 4.5 works with Maptech maps and can read "BSB Marine Charts", "Tiff", "USGS Topographical Maps" and "Fugawi Street Maps" formats.

What can also be done with FUGAWI :

• Create and delete points by clicking on the computer screen
• Associate icons, images and sounds to your points
• Create paths (choice of colour).
• Add points to existing paths.
• Calculate the area of a selected geographical zone
• Convert a digital map in any geodesic sysem into WGS 84.
• Save all points, paths and comments for later use
• Display different levels of zoom on the map
• Automatic upload of following map during navigation.
• Dispaly a map trough a keyword.
• Interface compatible with Garmin, Lowrance and Magellan GPS.

Requirements for user calibrated maps:

• Scanned map file or plot in bmp, gif, jpg, png, pcx or tif format
• Knowledge of the geodesic system of the map in use and of coordinates of 3 points on it

• Windows XP or Vista
• 500MHz processor
• Memory : 256 Mo (RAM)
• Coulour screen (at least 256 colours)
• 250 Mo free on hard drive
• Mouse or other selecting peripheral
• Serail port for GPS (can also function with PCMCIA and USB)
• A CD-Rom player
