Equipped with the Time Zero technology, the new 3D engine will totally change your method of navigating. You scroll, zoom in and zoom out with a smooth, fast and seamless engine worthy of the latest video games. The entirely 3D environment gives you a true perspective and a wide area of vision around the ship to better plan the route.
MaxSea Time Zero offers Work Spaces adapted to your present navigation. No more complicated dropdown menus! You only display the tools that you need, which enables an organization of your system that is practical, personalized and ultra functional. Finally, a software program that combines functional performance and ease of use. Likewise, the system clears everything away by offering a completely unobstructed interface through its automatic full screen display. Ingenious, reliable and, put quite simply, effective.
The 3D technology makes it possible to forge the link between the virtual and reality in real-time. What you see and what you receive on your computer is fully in-phase with what you are experiencing on the bridge of your ship.
Owing to the realism of the 3D images and the morphing of charts and aerial photos (photofusion), you can use MaxSea Time Zero at home to prepare your routes and your future voyages, while experiencing the same sensations as at sea. The realism of the product will surprise you all the more when you are on board!
MaxSea Time Zero also includes all of the functions that made the MaxSea software successful: chart positioning of the ship, global tides database, creation and management of your track points, routes and waypoints, display of the weather forecast directly in your software program, as well as all of the standard modules.
The AIS Module: the insurance against collision! Connected to your AIS transmitter/receiver, MaxSea allows you to display in a simple and user-friendly fashion, all of the targets around your ship (cargo ships, ships of more than 300 tons…). You visualize their course and their speed and you can anticipate dangers and collision risks. You are able to navigate in total calm.
Teamed up with the weather forecasts and the currents data, the routing makes it possible to calculate the optimal route based on the weather constraints. You choose the safest route while avoiding areas with strong winds.
For the NAVnet 3D users. Furuno, the undisputed leader in marine electronics, has chosen MaxSea as its exclusive information technology partner. This technological alliance is reflected by the full integration of MaxSea in the NAVnet 3D system. You prepare your navigation at home using your MaxSea unit. Once onboard, you are connected to the NAVnet 3D system: you overlay the radar image, the depth sounder and the main navigation data on your MaxSea unit.
